Chapter Presentations

Pick a chapter or two from the book. See the list at the bottom.

The major beliefs and ideas of each philosopher.
Applications/examples of that philosophy.
Site examples of your ideas and justify them accordingly.
Make sure that in your presentation, you have all your materials ready to teach, such as multimedia and copies of your outline for the entire class.

Prentice Hall Reader Assignments

Each Monday: read a chapter out of the Prentice Hall Reader
Each Wednesday: In groups of 4, present to the class a part of the chapter and how it specifically links to the theme of the chapter.
Each Friday: turn in a 2-4 page essay using the specific technique you learned that week.

Personal Tapistry

Personal Tapistry begins in May - Seniors, get yours done by May 16th so you can be free.

1. Interview Parents, relatives, wherever you can get your information.
2. Reserach on geneology, and family tree/heritage.
3. Relate specific events in your life to who you are today.
4. Present a 20 min. presentation on who exactly you are, where you're from, and where're you're headed to. Basically a show and tell
